CUARES502
Critique cultural works

Assessment tool

Version 1.0
Issue Date: April 2024

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research and analyse a range of information to produce critiques of cultural works.

It applies to individuals who produce verbal or written critiques of cultural works in a range of contexts. Typical contexts are critiques of own work or the work or other artists, commentary on particular works, or reviews for magazines or academic publications. Work is self-directed, but there would be an expectation of discussion with professionals and experts in areas associated with the cultural works.

No licensing, legislative or certification conditions apply to this unit at the time of publication.

You may want to include more information here about the target group and the purpose of the assessments (eg formative, summative, recognition)
