Assessment tool

Version 1.0
Issue Date: April 2024

This unit applies to individuals responsible for establishing and managing the lending and borrowing process, and includes considerable risk assessment and negotiation to protect the integrity of collection material.

Museums, archives, galleries, libraries and other organisations that hold collection materials regularly exchange and share parts of their collections.

Work is undertaken autonomously but in consultation with stakeholders.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to establish and implement procedures for lending and borrowing collection material. Specialised knowledge is required.

You may want to include more information here about the target group and the purpose of the assessments (eg formative, summative, recognition)
