Assessment tool

Version 1.0
Issue Date: April 2024

This unit applies to refuelling operations performed from small temporary field refuelling sites and includes the supply of both liquid fuels and other fuel products.

Drum stock includes the use of drums up to 205 litre and/or small portable fuel bladders; refuelling operations may be conducted using either small motorised or hand fuel pumping equipment. The conduct of field refuelling tasks from larger, more complex facilities is covered within DEFPE001A Conduct field refuelling operations from a bulk fuel installation.

Personnel may perform tasks within this unit either as individuals or as part of a small team under limited supervision, following set procedures and methods, requiring some discretion and judgement.

This unit covers the competency required to refuel vehicles and equipment from packaged fuel within a field environment.

You may want to include more information here about the target group and the purpose of the assessments (eg formative, summative, recognition)
