This unit involves the skills and knowledge required for higherorder safe motorcycle riding. This unit applies to motorcycle riders required to apply safe riding behaviours.
This includes higherorder skills involving broad cognitive, technical, communication and motorcycle management. It also requires knowledge about hazard perception, risk control and safe riding behaviour, judgement, decision making and multi-tasking that builds on rider licence requirements across a range of motorcycles and riding situations.
Safe riding behaviours are applied without supervision.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
