This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to implement traffic management plans in the transport and logistics industry.

It includes planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, auditing and packing up a traffic management plan, and undertaking housekeeping duties in a control room and on site.

Traffic management plans include those for public and private roads, parking areas and restricted access sites.

This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles within tunnel and open road operations.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

working collaboratively with others to undertake and complete traffic management plans that meet all required outcomes.

Evidence required to demonstrate competence in this unit must be relevant to and satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria and include knowledge of:
