Practice in this unit is subject to regulations directly related to Occupational Health and Safety and where applicable contracts of training such as apprenticeships and the like.

This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to undertake the installation of electrical equipment including, but not limited to, rotating and static machines, appliances, luminaries and associated control equipment, but excludes H.V. equipment.
