Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Prepare vehicle
   • Workplace procedures are identified and followed
   • Research objectives, work plans and check lists are identified for test
   • Instructions and analysisparameters are interpreted
   • Vehicle system and component monitoring and testing equipment are installed and checked for operation according to workplace and manufacturer procedures
   • Vehicle is checked for safe and correct operation within the parameters of the test plan
2. Operate and monitor vehicle
   • Vehicle is operated in line with test requirements
   • Performance of vehicle during test is monitored
   • Observations are recorded according to workplace procedures and research objectives
3. Complete test documentation
   • Running observations are reviewed and report is prepared according to workplace procedures
   • Final analysis and test findings are reported to management and engineering personnel according to workplace procedures
   • Vehicle records are maintained and updated information is processed according to work instructions and workplace procedures
