Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Review standards
   • Heavy vehicle modification standards are identified
   • ADR, OEM requirements, HVNL regulations, and VSB6 specifications for heavy vehicles are interpreted and applied
2. Check that vehicle complies with standards
   • Workplace manufacturing or modification drawings are checked against VSB6 requirements for compliance
   • Standards are checked against OEM specifications
   • Work health and safety (WHS) requirements and workplace procedures are identified and followed
3. Complete documentation
   • Non-compliance of standards is reported to appropriate personnel for rectification according to workplace procedures
   • Workplace documentation is completed according to workplace procedures
