Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Prepare to recommission vessel systems
   • Job requirements are determined from workplace instructions
   • Recommissioning procedures and information are accessed and interpreted
   • Hazards associated with the work are identified and risks are managed
   • Tools and equipment are selected and checked for serviceability
2. Recommission vessel systems
   • Vessel systems are tested according to manufacturer specifications, workplace procedures, and safety and environmental requirements
   • Vessel systems that fail testing are reported according to workplace procedures, and rectification approval is gained from customer
   • Vessel systems are adjusted and re-tested as required according to manufacturer specifications, workplace procedures, and safety and environmental requirements
