- Work instructions are used to determine job requirements, including method, processes and equipment
- Job specifications are read and interpreted
- Occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements, including personal safety needs, are observed throughout the work
- Equipment and tooling are identified and checked for safe and effective operation
- Procedures are determined to minimise task time
- Remove/replace/fit components/ accessories
- Information required for the work is accessed from manufacturer/component supplier specifications and interpreted
- OHS policies and procedures are observed throughout the work processes
- Accessories, tooling and equipment required for the work are identified, selected and prepared in accordance with worksite procedures
- Accessories are removed and refitted in accordance with worksite procedures
- Accessory removal and refit procedures are carried out in accordance with legislation, industry and enterprise policies/procedures guidelines
- Test components/ accessories
- Information required for testing is accessed from manufacturer/component supplier specifications and interpreted
- Components/accessories are tested in accordance with authorised procedures
- Testing of accessories is completed without causing damage to component or system
- Workplace records are completed in accordance with enterprise procedures
- Clean up work area and maintain equipment
- Material that can be reused is collected and stored
- Waste and scrap is removed following workplace procedure
- Equipment and work area are cleaned and inspected for serviceable condition in accordance with workplace procedures
- Unserviceable equipment is tagged and faults identified in accordance with workplace requirements
- Operator maintenance is completed in accordance with manufacturer/component supplier specifications and worksite procedures
- Tooling and equipment is maintained in accordance with workplace procedures
