- Workplace objectives are identified, interpreted and positively promoted to associated personnel and/or work team members
- Communications with associated personnel and/or work team members are effectively established
- Disputes are resolved through effective negotiation with relevant individuals or groups
- Quality assurance measures are maintained, systems improvement suggestions are encouraged, and proposals are submitted to relevant authorities
- Observe and promote work health and safety procedures
- Relevant statutory and workplace requirements for WHS/OHS are communicated to all personnel and are implemented at all worksites
- Accidents and injuries are reported and investigated in accordance with workplace policy
- Potential hazards and safety risks are identified and investigated, and recommendations for preventative action are referred to appropriate authorities
- WHS/OHS and first aid training programs are implemented
- Maintain and promote team wellbeing
- Participate in competency development
- Competencies required for work are identified, attained and maintained
- Personal development and other competency development programs are accessed and undertaken
- Competency deficiencies in personnel are identified and remedial action, including counselling, is initiated as required
- Workplace trainer and assessor requirements are identified and satisfied
