Elements and Performance Criteria
- Receive and distribute incoming mail
- Ensure incoming mail is checked and registered in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Identify titles and locations of company personnel and departments
- Identify and distribute urgent and confidential mail in accordance with organisational requirements
- Sort and deliver mail to nominated person/location in accordance with organisational requirements
- Record and/or report damaged, suspicious or missing items and take appropriate action in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Collect and despatch outgoing mail
- Organise urgent and same day deliveries
