typing with 98% accuracy assessed under test conditions in line with the current version of AS2708:2001 Keyboarding speed tests

knowledge of relevant legislation

Context of and specific resources for assessment

Assessment must ensure

access to office equipment and resources

access to samples of word processed documents and organisational style guides

that it is in accordance with the current version of AS Keyboarding speed tests which specifies the test material the equipment the environment and how to conduct and score the test

that a speed statement be issued to individuals assessed as competent against the unit

Method of assessment

A range of assessment methods should be used to assess practical skills and knowledge The following examples are appropriate for this unit
