- Plan and prepare.
- Work instructions, including plans, specifications, quality requirements and operational details are obtained from relevant information, confirmed and applied to the scope of work performed.
- Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies.
- Signage and barricade requirements are identified and implemented.
- Tools and equipment selected to carry out tasks are consistent with the requirements of the job, checked for serviceability and any faults are rectified or reported prior to commencement.
- Run off devices are installed and maintenance processes applied if appropriate to the task.
- Environmental requirements are identified for the project in accordance with environmental plans and statutory and legislative authority obligations and applied.
- Select restoration or renovation method.
- Restore plasterwork.
- Materials are mixed and prepared for use according to quality requirements.
- Damaged plasterwork is restored to original condition or specifications in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Damaged cement or plaster mould work is restored to original condition in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Textured finishes are applied to match original surfaces, details and alignment.
- Renovate lettering and monograms.
- Surface for renovation is prepared to architect's specifications.
- Monograms and lettering panels are constructed in sand and cement mortar to match detail for restorations.
- Materials are applied to fine finish, with sharp arises, square returns and plumb/level according to requirements or job drawings.
- Clean up.
