Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan and prepare.
- Work instructions, including plans, specifications, quality requirements and operational details are obtained from relevant information, confirmed and applied to the scope of work performed.
- Safety (OHS) requirements are followed in accordance with safety plans and policies.
- Signage and barricade requirements are identified and implemented.
- Tools and equipment selected to carry out tasks are consistent with the requirements of the job, checked for serviceability and any faults are rectified or reported prior to commencement.
- Materials quantity requirements are calculated in accordance with plans, specifications and quality requirements.
- Materials appropriate to the work application are identified, obtained, prepared, safely handled and located ready for use.
- Environmental requirements are identified for the project in accordance with environmental plans and statutory and legislative authority obligations and applied.
- Prepare work area for application processes.
- Fix and stop pre-cast moulded archways.
- Plasterboard wall sheets are confirmed to be in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Archway profile is set out and cut to architect's drawings and specifications.
- Timber arch soffit templates are cut and fixed to position.
- Infill moulding is fixed to arch soffit and reveals of opening.
- Arch is stopped in accordance with job specifications and required level of finish.
- Fix and stop plaster panelled ceiling.
- Fix ornamental mouldings.
- Clean up.
