- Organise plant, equipment and materials.
- Plant, equipment and material requirements are estimated based on past usage and present needs.
- Availability of required plant, equipment and material is determined according to operational requirements.
- Plant and equipment are checked to ensure they are in good working order, and problems are resolved or reported according to manufacturer specifications and organisational requirements.
- Allocate work areas and activities.
- Work is scheduled to be completed within time available according to operational requirements.
- Work is allocated to personnel according to individual licences, capacity and skills to meet scheduled timeframes.
- Training and assessment opportunities are provided for personnel where skill gaps have been identified according to organisational requirements.
- Site safety plan is developed to identify site safety features and emergency response procedures.
- Operational requirements are communicated to personnel according to organisational requirements.
- Waste management operational documentation is maintained, stored and secured according to organisational requirements.
