To complete the unit requirements the individual must:

explain factors that need to be considered depending on whether vision systems are being installed on a temporary or permanent basis

explain issues that need to be considered when implementing automated and interactive vision systems and those with multiple input sources and output and display devices

explain technical requirements and constraints associated with installing and operating a range of vision systems

describe costing and budget issues associated with implementing vision system designs

describe typical formats for documenting vision system installation plans

describe processes and procedures typically used to ensure version control for draft and final plans

explain work health and safety issues to be considered when installing and operating vision systems.
