Evidence Required

Critical aspects for assessment and evidence required to demonstrate competency in this unit

Assessment must confirm the ability to coordinate clearance of at least a metre route The route must contain obstacles of explosive ordnance that as a minimum includes mines and booby traps

Consistency in performance

Competency should be demonstrated over time in a range of realistic operational scenarios

Context of and specific resources for assessment

Context of assessment

Competency should be assessed in simulated work environment that replicates the operational threat environment The context of assessment is simulated due to the nature of this high risk environment

Specific resources for assessment

Access to resources as listed in the Range Statement suitable site clearance team and communications equipment
