Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Plan and prepare for licensing
   • Identify and confirm explosive ordnance facility to be licensed.
   • Identify and assemble documentation related to the facility.
   • Liaise with relevant personnel.
   • Review previous licensing history documentation.
2. Inspect facility
   • Confirm serviceability of the facility.
   • Confirm construction standards of the facility.
   • Take measurements in accordance with licensing requirements.
   • Apply formulae and perform calculations on measurements.
   • Compare data to licensing requirements to identify shortfalls.
3. Prepare licence application
   • Confirm shortfalls have been rectified.
   • Prepare licensing documentation and forward to approving authority.
   • Ensure documentation, records and reports related to the facility licence are maintained.

Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

identifying problems and non-adherence to policy and standards

undertaking measurements of volume, length, width, perimeter and area

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
