Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Prepare for assessment
   • Identify and confirm explosives to be transported.
   • Identify and apply safety and security requirements.
2. Assess the explosive
   • Inspect the explosives.
   • Conduct research to fill information gaps.
   • Determine the condition of the explosives.
   • Conduct a transportation risk assessment.
   • Conduct checks and inspections to ensure actions to eliminate or mitigate the hazards are completed.
   • Select and confirm transportation requirements.
3. Produce requirement documents
   • Produce a report on the transportation of specific explosives.
   • Distribute report and communicate decisions.
