Elements and Performance Criteria
- Prepare for operations
- Obtain and confirm task requirements with relevant personnel
- Unpack and inspect components for serviceability in accordance with operational procedures
- Assemble components in accordance with manufacturer instructions
- Obtain and confirm operational orders, administrative and emergency response procedures
- Select and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Apply work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements and safety precautions in accordance with operational procedures and emergency response plan
- Identify and apply environmentally sustainable work practices, as required
- Complete appropriate documentation or records, as required
- Receive fuel from ship
- Install flexible fabric tank onto vessel from the shore or directly off a ship in accordance with instructions, operational procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Connect TFCM system to ship’s pipeline in preparation for transfer operations
- Conduct pre-operation checks in accordance with manufacturer instructions and operational procedures
- Test fuel for product contamination, record results and quarantine defective product as required
- Transfer fuel in accordance with instructions and operational procedures
- Disconnect TFCM system from refuelling ship
- Issue fuel from TFCM system to shore
- Monitor condition of TFCM system during sea transit in accordance with operational procedures and emergency response plan and promptly report or rectify issues within scope of own authority
- Discharge fuel after vessel has been moored in accordance with operational procedures
- Monitor equipment during transfer operations and report or rectify faults, as required
- Monitor gauges to ensure transfer is in accordance with operational procedures
- Maintain communication with team members and relevant personnel during transfer operations
- Extract fabric flexible tank from vessel
- Recover equipment in accordance with operational procedures
- Finalise operations
