Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan and prepare for the monitoring and supervision of contractors
- Obtain, interpret and clarify monitoring requirements in the form of management information system reports, work orders and contracts before commencing.
- Identify, access, interpret and apply policies and procedures for all relevant WHS standards, statutory requirements, Range Standing Orders and other instructions.
- Identify and obtain the details of the contractual requirements.
- Identify and confirm training area and range access requirements.
- Monitor and supervise contractor activities
- Assess current user activities and contractor requirements.
- Prepare and deliver briefings.
- Determine the activity priorities.
- Monitor and/or conduct supervision of contractors.
- Conduct corrective action in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Conduct ongoing checks on the service/activity in accordance with directions from contract manager.
- Complete monitoring and supervision records
