Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Search/track designated sector using tracking equipment
   • Test, clean and maintain lookout and tracking equipment.
   • Acknowledge orders from attended briefing.
   • Identify and record designated sector.
   • Select, use and operate tracking equipment.
   • Search designated sector.
   • Identify and confirm potential threats/targets.
   • Maintain target track.
   • Report target.
   • Update target information.
2. Engage target
   • Select required ammunition type and load weapon (close range or medium range).
   • Receive and acknowledge orders and engage target.
   • Report on target and weapon state to command.
