- Plan stockpile operations
- Applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), environmental, legislative and organisational requirements relevant to coordinating and monitoring the wood chip stockpile are identified and followed
- Variations in wood chip supply are assessed, recorded and reported
- Stockpile schedules are produced and applied in line with site procedures
- Chip movement procedures including order information are planned and scheduled
- Stockpile management is planned and prescribed
- Communication with others is established and maintained in line with OHS requirements
- Control stockpile
- Wood chip stockpile size growth is estimated from production and shipping schedules
- Direction and extent for spread or contraction of stockpile is planned in line with site procedures and environmental requirements
- Chip spreading requirements are estimated considering the reach of the chip slingingequipment
- Stockpile is inspected to identify hazards within vehicle operational area
- Coordinate wood chip movement and loading
- Vehicles and attachments are selected and allocated to spread chips and load transport modes
- Personnel are advised of spreading, movement and loading operations
- Stockpile levelling is coordinated in line with site procedures and environmental requirements
- Wood chip retrieval from the stockpile edges is coordinated and directed to transport modes
- Stockpile coordination and equipment faults are investigated, recorded and reported in line with site requirements
