purpose, features and operation equipment used to shift loads in forest products factories

use of specific equipment to move materials found in forest product factories:

wood chips

wood fibre

logs

bark

off-cuts

timber

raw board

panel products

veneer

capacity of load shifting equipment in relation to dimensions and weight

organisational procedures specific to load shifting:

workplace health and safety with particular emphasis on equipment lock out and use of personal protective equipment

communication reporting lines

recording and reporting load shifting processes and equipment faults.
