Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Monitor water delivery system
   • Perform routine inspections of channel flow rates, regulations and delivery according to demand and organisational and statutory requirements.
   • Gather and record system performance data.
   • Identify and correct system faults according to plans and service standards.
   • Select, fit and use required safety equipment, including personal protective equipment.
2. Control processes
   • Determine and apply system adjustments required to meet demands.
   • Initiate and coordinate system adjustments required for delivery or channel flow rates.
   • Integrate processes to improve the delivery network performance.
3. Analyse data and compile reports
   • Conduct analysis of actual performance against planned system performance using system data and records.
   • Compile reports from system performance data.

Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

interpreting and following plans, instructions and standard operating procedures
