Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

identifying and securing the human resources, plant and equipment and materials to complete the work

making adjustments and alterations to designs

scheduling and sequencing of the project

ensuring organisational, planning and statutory obligations are met

providing targeted, timely and constructive feedback to contractors or staff

monitoring adherence to the project plan or schedule

exercising judgement if the project plan or schedule requires revision due to unforeseen circumstances

overseeing and ensuring quality outcomes are achieved

reporting the outcomes

managing costs overruns

supervising and advising construction team

managing risks


Knowledge Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.

enterprise contract conditions and compliance

legislation, organisational policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements

system layout, integrity, design and performance

evaluation and investigation requirements

enterprise auditing and recording procedures and reporting requirements

characteristics, technical capabilities and limitations of materials and equipment according to manufacturer specifications

risk factors and potential hazards
