Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

interpreting plans, charts and instructions, policies, procedures and standards

identifying water flow, water quality and water quantity requirements

identifying performance measures for the resource and operations

coordinating river flow adjustments

taking pictures of deficiencies, problems

locating requirements

interpreting relevant standards and legislation

assessing water levels

planning inspection

conducting a risk assessment

preserving own safety when conducting the inspection


Knowledge Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
