Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

using cleaning chemicals

applying policies, standard operating procedures and regulatory standards

performing calculations

identifying control system faults and operational problems

identifying hazards

interpreting safety data sheets (SDS)

monitoring, operating and reporting on UV irradiation disinfection systems

scheduling work

selecting and using appropriate tools and equipment, including personal protective equipment

monitoring UV irradiation disinfection systems

collecting process samples

performing standard tests, including at least one of:

UVT

turbidity

suspended solids

iron

lamp intensity

hardness

total organic carbon

maintaining and operating UV irradiation disinfection systems


Knowledge Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
