Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

applying policies, regulatory standards and standard operating procedures

performing work-related ozone calculations

identifying control system faults and operational problems

identifying hazards

using literacy skills regarding verbal and written communication in the workplace

interpreting safety data sheets (SDS)

scheduling work

selecting and using appropriate tools and equipment, including personal protective equipment

monitoring ozone treatment processes

collecting process samples and performing standard tests, including at least one of:

ozone residual sampling

ozone residuals

exhaust gas ozone concentration

pH

ozone residual level in water supply

preparing and applying ozone dosing safely


Knowledge Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
