Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Monitor standards and improve service delivery
   • Monitor documentation, processes and practices.
   • Monitor service and standards and identify ways in which planning and operations could be improved using organisation’s systems and technologies.
   • Implement continuous improvement techniques to strengthen the standards.
   • Document work performance and use the information to identify opportunities for improvement to systems and processes.
   • Manage records, reports and recommendations for improvement.
   • Set, monitor and review service benchmarks.
2. Maintain and further develop professional competence in injury management
   • Maintain a knowledge of industry trends/changes and legislative updates.
   • Use feedback from clients and colleagues to identify and develop ways to improve personal competence.
   • Select and use professional development opportunities suited to personal learning style.

Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least one occasion.

applying legislation, regulations and policies relating to maintenance of rehabilitation injury management service and standards

using communication with diverse stakeholders including interviewing, gathering feedback

updating knowledge and skills through both formal and informal means

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
