Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified, the candidate must demonstrate evidence of performance of the following on at least two occasions.

confirming client and assignment requirements and issues associated with media sources and technology

identifying purposes, end product, quality mechanisms, and expectations

using high-level target language skills, including:

code switching between spoken and written language

translating into spoken register

adjusting syntax to match words to screen image

attending to natural semantic order

presenting information linearly

placing subject and verb in close proximity

re-casting relative clauses as separate sentences

using short sentences


Knowledge Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence must satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria. If not otherwise specified, the depth of knowledge demonstrated must be appropriate to the job context of the candidate.
