Evidence Required

Critical aspects for assessment and evidence required to demonstrate competency in this unit

Assessment must confirm the ability to identify threat equipment using aural means and to recognise the following through visual means

artillery

mortars

rocket launchers

missile launchers

vehicles tracked

vehicles wheeled

radar

aircraft

watercraft

armoured vehicles

Consistency in performance

Competency should be demonstrated over at least two different target locations from at least one observation site
