Performance Evidence
Evidence is required to be collected that demonstrates a candidate’s competency in this unit. Evidence must be relevant to the roles within this sector’s work operations and satisfy all of the requirements of the performance criteria of this unit and include evidence that the candidate:
locates and applies relevant legislation, documentation, policies and proceduresimplements appropriate procedures and techniques for the safe, effective and efficient supervision of civil masonry, crib and gabion structure construction tasks including:calculate quantities for the execution of tasks, including:volumestonnage requiredgradespercentagesareasresource consumption figures, including required supply rates interpret civil masonry, crib and gabion structure construction materials properties and test resultsworks effectively with others to plan, prepare and conduct civil masonry, crib and gabion structure construction tasks including:provides clear and timely instruction and supervision using a range of communication techniques to those involved in civil masonry, crib and gabion structure construction tasks including:prepares for and conducts briefings, toolbox and site meetingmaintains clear and legible written records and the reporting systems including: preparing and presenting job reportspreparing and maintaining of log books and diariesdemonstrates completion of the principles of civil masonry, crib and gabion structure construction that safely, effectively and efficiently meets all of the required outcomes on more than one (1) occasion including:provides evidence of the consistent successful supervision of masonry, crib and gabion structures construction tasks including: interpreting project contract specification requirements applying procedures to problem solve making decisions for activity carrying out continuous improvement in meeting task outcomes
