- Carry out start-up procedures according to manufacturer's specifications and site procedures
- Communicate with other equipment operators and personnel using approved communication methods
- Identify, address and report environmental issues
- Adhere to emergency procedures in case of fire and/or accident according to manufacturer's guidelines and site procedures
- Lift and move load
- Operate equipment safely within work environment, limitations, site conditions and capacity of equipment and attachments
- Monitor and manage equipment performance using appropriate indicators to aid efficient operations
- Assess site conditions and position equipment to ensure safety of other equipment and personnel
- Establish weight of load and select appropriate slings and lifting gear accordingly
- Secure load utilising approved method to ensure stability of the load and equipment and safety of other equipment and personnel
- Maintain safety of site by implementing appropriate safety provisions
- Guide movement of equipment using approved signals
- Complete all required documentation clearly, concisely and on time
- Complete operations
- Safely move integrated tool carrier between worksites, observing relevant codes and traffic management requirements
- Prepare integrated tool carrier for relocation in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications
- Safely park integrated tool carrier and prepare for maintenance and shutdown in accordance with manufacturer's manual and organisational requirements
- Inspect integrated tool carrier for faults in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and/or organisational requirements
- Select, remove and fit attachments
- Carry out post-operational procedures
