Elements and Performance Criteria
- Facilitate compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Manage compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to application and enrolment processes for international students
- Manage compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and standards that apply to the provision of international education and training
- Review and develop organisational policies and procedures for education and training processes and delivery with reference to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, codes and standards
- Identify risk factors and controls, and manage risk in delivery of organisation's education and training programs
- Manage provision of education and training information and services for international students
- Manage information provision in relation to education and training courses and services, and address consequent information needs of international students
- Manage processes for updating education and training information through the organisation's processes
- Manage strategies to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of international student study support through organisation's processes
- Manage provision of and access to education and training resources for international students
- Monitor provision of student facilities to ensure they are in accordance with relevant standards
- Monitor use of organisation's facilities that support learning and assessment in relation to their efficiency, availability, economy and maintenance
- Manage and monitor provision of equipment, materials, learning and assessment resources for students in conjunction with relevant personnel to ensure currency, relevance and adequacy of resources and compliance with organisational policies and relevant standards
- Develop forward estimates in relation to financing education and training programs, within work role parameters
- Monitor, review and adjust budgets to ensure economic viability of education and training program delivery, within work role parameters
- Disperse financial allocations in accordance with organisational policies, and rationalise and account for procedures and expenditure, within work role parameters
- Review and develop teaching and training practices for international students
- Review teaching and training practices in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Assess periodically, the outcomes of teaching and training practices and evaluate against organisational client services objectives
- Support consultation with staff and students regarding individual progress, and identify and address emerging needs
- Review administrative support for organisation's education and training programs, and recommend improvements to higher level management
- Monitor resourcing of education, training and administration functions to facilitate best practice outcomes from organisation's education and training programs
- Identify staff professional development needs against organisation's skill set to meet organisational education and training objectives
- Undertake mentoring to guide and support staff, and to encourage and facilitate professional development or training
- Review and manage education and training record keeping for international students
- Establish or develop a compliant record management system for completion and storage of education and training records, and review to ensure its efficiency and compliance
- Facilitate compliance in relation to developing and implementing student learning and assessment requirements
- Monitor awards documentation and registers for accuracy and compliance with organisational policies and standards
- Manage staff and student information and records for compliance with privacy and confidentiality, legislation and standards
- Monitor administrator scheduling of learning and assessment related activities, including accurate and timely communication of schedules and changes
- Monitor student fees processes to facilitate compliance with standards
- Record, report and rectify non-compliance in relation to documents and records according to organisational policies and procedures
