Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence in this unit must be relevant to and satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria on at least one occasion and include:

Evidence required to demonstrate competence in this unit must be relevant to and satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria and include knowledge of:

how to resolve issues of non-conformance

import charges and freight costs

parameters of freight forwarder role in import processes

permits, authorities and other regulatory documents

purpose of shipment details

responsibilities of import parties

sources of information

variety of communication methods to use with suppliers, regulators and customers

workplace procedures.
