To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:

7 core units

10 elective units.

The elective units must ensure the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and are to be chosen as follows:

up to 2 units from Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualifications in CPP or another current Training Package or accredited course, provided they do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification
