To be awarded the 
FWP30716 Certificate III in Sawdoctoring, competency must be achieved in twenty six (26) units of competency.
ten (10) core units of competency
sixteen (16) units of competency from the elective group, the total of which can include up to 2 units recommended for packaging at Certificate II, III or IV level from this or any other endorsed Training Package or state/territory accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to work undertaken in the sawmilling and processing sector of the industry.
