Subjects
31 units of competency are required to achieve this qualification, including:
21 core units and
10 elective units, of which:
at least 5 units must come from the general elective units list below
up to 5 units may be selected from any endorsed Training Packages or accredited courses relevant to the work outcome
no more than 3 units in total may be selected from the Business Services Training Package.
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
To achieve a specialisation in maternal and infant care all Group A electives must be selected for award of the Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice (Maternal and infant care).
