The following provides the packaging rules for this qualification, followed by the list of relevant units of competency.
Total units = 14
9 Core units, plus
5 elective units, of which
at least two (2) must be chosen from Group A
no more than three (3) may be chosen from Group B
no more than two (2) units from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.
All elective units selected from outside this qualification must reflect current occupational and learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level.
Where a unit is imported as an elective care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified are complied with.

Assist with coal seam gas control (cannot be used if RIIOGD304D is chosen)
Conduct and maintain derrick operations
Apply effective coal seam gas practices
Apply blowout prevention operational procedures
Work effectively with diversity
Conduct telescopic materials handler operations
Conduct wheel loader operations
Operate small plant and equipment
Enter and work in confined spaces
Work safely at heights
Provide work skill instruction
