These competencies from the LMF02 Training Packages meet the minimum industry requirements for manufacturing of Insulated Glass Units (IGUs).

This Skill Set is aimed at people who have completed a qualification in Glass and Glazing or other aligned trades at a Certificate III level and who are now expected to manufacture Insulated Glass Units that conform with the Australian Standard "AS4666 Insulated Glass Units" to meet certification requirements. Note that it is expected any prerequisite requirements (or their equivalent) will have already been achieved.

These competencies can provide credit towards relevant qualifications in the Furnishing Training Package at a certificate III level and could be used as electives towards a relevant Certificate IV. Note that any prerequisite requirements are expected to have been achieved.
