This competency from the MSS Sustainability Training Package meets the minimum industry requirements for calculating energy loss and recommending improvements.

This Skill Set will typically be undertaken by a technician, technologist or engineer who needs to calculate the energy usage and/or energy loss for steps within a process and to recommend improvements.

This unit can provide credit towards the MSS80116 Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Operations. This unit may also be applied where other aspects of sustainability are identified as the priority issues in which case a Statement of Attainment will be issued instead of the Skill Set.
