This unit of competency from the SIT12 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package provides the skills and knowledge for individuals to responsibly sell or serve alcohol. It meets the prescribed certification requirements, under each Australian State and Territory liquor licensing law, for those involved in the sale or service of alcohol.

Personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. It also applies to security staff who monitor patron behaviour and to the licensee who is ultimately responsible for RSA management.

Achievement of this unit provides credit towards a number of hospitality qualifications.
