Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide support and information in resource management change processes.It applies to those who support individuals or businesses to change their management of resources within the context of the program. This unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for their own work and provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Assessors must satisfy current standards for RTOs.

The candidate must be assessed on their ability to integrate and apply the performance requirements of this unit in a workplace setting. Performance must be demonstrated consistently over time and in a suitable range of contexts.

The candidate must provide evidence that they can:

assess the resource management change and its potential impact on individuals and affected families and businesses

predict issues that are likely to arise from change, based on community feedback and statistical information

provide information and support to individuals facing resource management changes in a sensitive manner

review the methodology and effectiveness of support to improve support services for resource management change.

The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of:

local natural resource management issues

relevant approaches to different cultures

change management principles and practices

networks of assistance.
