Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to support group and community changes in resource management.This unit applies to those who support change management processes in a group and community context. These individuals take personal responsibility and exercise autonomy in undertaking complex work and analyse, design and communicate solutions to sometimes complex problems.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

The candidate must be assessed on their ability to integrate and apply the performance requirements of this unit in a workplace setting. Performance must be demonstrated consistently over time and in a suitable range of contexts.

The candidate must provide evidence that they can:

identify required or impending changes and potential impacts on a group or community

develop change management strategies to deal with potential change issues

distribute information about changes and provide advice and response to queries

facilitate a group through a process of change

The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of:

change management theories at individual and group level

local networks and groups

community viewpoints and cultures
