Element: Notify client, authorities and agencies of the schedule of works
  • All fees due are paid and parking restrictions arranged as appropriate.
  • Insurance cover is established and provision for security made.
  • Irrigation installation and construction date is confirmed with client.
  • All authorities requiring formal notification of commencement of work are contacted.
       
Element: Organise delivery of site accommodation
  • Site facilities are delivered and positioned on site.
  • Site signage is erected to comply with local government regulations.
       
Element: Organise delivery of plant
  • On-site plant delivery dates are confirmed.
  • Rubbish removal facility is set up.
       
Element: Arrange connection of temporary services
  • Temporary power and water connections are arranged with service providers, as required.
  • Temporary site access and egress is authorised by local authority, as required.
       
Element: Organise on-site labour
  • Construction work supervisor is engaged/appointed.
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and industrial relation matters are addressed as required.
  • Appropriate installation/construction workers are employed according to contract.
       
Element: Order material
  • Orders for materials are placed and site delivery dates organised using approved enterprise procedures and documentation.
  • Final pre-construction adjustments are made to satisfy the schedule as required by contract.
