Element: Prepare materials, tools and equipment for landscaping work
  • Identify the required materials, tools and equipment according to lists provided or supervisor's instructions
  • Conduct checks on materials, tools and equipment with insufficient or faulty items reported to the supervisor
  • demonstrate correct manual handling techniques when loading and unloading materials
  • Select and check suitable personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Provide landscaping support according to workplace health and safety requirements and workplace information
  • Identify and report workplace hazards to the supervisor
