Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills and knowledge required for committee or board members to communicate with community stakeholders, including other organisations, to engage people in association or club activities.It applies to individuals who to interact with community stakeholders in their roles as members of committees or boards of governance.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical committee or board of governance activities and include access to:

examples of issues considered by committees or boards of governance, including community feedback.

Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational education and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards.
