Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to extend and refine individual cultural research capability, in the context of own practice and as part of the broader cultural context.It applies to individuals in the creative industries who can research and engage with current cultural debate and with cultural history and theory. Individuals at this level engage in a self-directed independent research process.No licensing, legislative or certification conditions apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in creative arts industry environments. The assessment environment must include access to: a range of cultural history and theory information sources opportunities to debate ideas and present information. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational educational and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
